Moon Over Us Extended/Repeating!

The moon is so bright

it lights up the sky at night

Along with the stars

The sky shines

From earth it looks like a dot

But near the moon you see it takes up a lot

To me it looks like a gem

Navigating the "The Moon Over Us iCollaboratory Project", one realizes that this project is a real successful Global Dialog with students participating from China, USA and Brasil. A huge amount of student participate with pages and comments about the Moon and the significance of this companion.

"The moon has been the most significant part of Chinese culture for a long time. The ancient Chinese established the precise lunar calendar according to the moon’s revolution. On 15th August (lunar calendar), there is the mid-autumn festival, which is one of the most important festival in China and whose popularity just behind the Spring Festival." -Yang L 

The Moon Over Us project has been so successful that we will be stating another round starting November 1. If you were interested in joining the project but, the beginning of the school year was just too soon, please join us in November. Students who started the project will be continuing and new students will also be starting. :)
